About Me

Aidan Perret is a railway photographer from Victoria, BC currently living in Courtenay, BC. He has a passion for documenting and preserving Vancouver Island Railways and there story's. Currently he is a member of the Esquimalt and Nanaimo Division of the Canadian Railroad Historical Association (encrha.com), a society committed to preserving all aspects of railroading on Vancouver Island. He will continue to photograph the changing of Vancouver Island's railway's for decades to come, and for all to see.
Some of his most notable work is documenting the final years of the Englewood Railway and it's eventual removal of the railway, North America's last logging railway. Other work of Aidan Perret's includes photographing equipment, operations, and sites for the Esquimalt and Nanaimo Division of the Canadian Railroad Historical Association.
